Grammy Nomination in the Latin World

Dateline -- Afterhours Music, Inc. entered into the Latin Market, co-writing and arranging the single for Julio Iglesias called "Agua Dulce, Agua Sala" selling just over 4 million copies and reaching the #1 pop single in Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks.  The album was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album, in addition, Hal has Produced

remixes for  Julio Tango album, La Mafia, Ana Gabriel, Djavan and Diomedes Dance Mix, and most recently the Latin mix USA-Various Artist, reaching the top 50 album sales in '98.
     Following this very successful release of Agua Dulce Agua Sala, Hal went on to received "El Premio ASCAP," the award for the Top Played Latin Songs in America.  For two consecutive years in '95 & '96 Hal has been honored with the "El Premio ASCAP award for the songs: "Agua Dulce, Agua Sala" & "Solamente Tu Amor."

   Who else should comment but the professionals themselves; those who are working in the industry, day to day, like Mike Lewis; one of South Florida's most well known and respected Arranger's in the business today.
     "I started my arranging career writing for the Jimmy Dorsey band and soon became a staff arranger for the Jackie Gleason TV Show.  For many years, I worked out of Criteria Recording Studios as their music director, but over the past 12 years I've been recording exclusively at Afterhours Music studio.
     I've arranged and recorded approximately fifty full length production shows for the cruise industry. I continually provide arrangements and original compositions for artists, recordings, and prominent music education publishing houses."
